Does anyone know anything about rosary beads?
So, I was gone for a while (days,on a trip). When I returned home I wasn't greeted so well. I left the house almost immediately. I was glad I did. My friend made me feel so happy. We had such a good time together.
Well, I came home. Feeling that same way. You know, the one that I am seeing too frequently. More than I would like. The one of being sad, alone, worth nothing. A good friend of mine gave me a bracelet that meant a lot to here a while back. I reread the note that went along with it. I guess it's a rosary.
So, Do you know how to work these exactly?
I want to feel comfort, peace and joy.

Honestly, I don't. I know about those nifty calm, joy, good luck, power, emotion beads you can buy at Harry's, but other than that...
Comfort, peace and joy rely on two things: your environment, and how you react to your environment.
"The more I live, the more I realize the impacts of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is that we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change or past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our Attitudes."

That bit has always meant a lot to me; I hope it brings some comfort to you as well.
